The Red Sox got some more bad news about another minor leaguer yesterday. According to SoxProspects.com, last year’s first round draft pick Nick Hagadone is set to undergo Tommy John surgery after feeling something pop in his elbow. Gordon Edes says the Red Sox are actually waiting on a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews before deciding on a course of action. Anytime you hear or read the name Dr. Andrews anywhere, it’s usually not a good thing. But let’s it is minor and Hagadone is back on

Zimbabwe is "in a war situation", says the general secretary of the main Zimbabwean opposition party, the MDC. At a news conference in Johannesburg, Tendai Biti claimed 10 people had been killed since disputed elections on 29 March and thousands had been displaced.

I'm officially a self-publisher! Thursday, a large truck rumbled down the street with two pallets of books. 500 copies of Evil Inc Annual Report Vol. 2 and 1,500 copies of Evil Inc Annual Report Vol. 3. Unfortunately, the truck was a bit too large. He wasn't able to maneuver his truck into the alley down the block and behind my house to get to my garage, where I had planned to store the books.
